Our People

The team here at Heehaw are a multitalented bunch; a collective dedicated to the creative arts using their talents to create awesome stuff for our clients. Our backgrounds are diverse; management, brand and marketing, illustration and design, music, filmmaking and photography, all these elements help build the collective strengths of our team and adds real value, experience, and passion to our work.

Our culture

Working as we do in the creative industries, we like to keep our thought inspired and our ideas fresh. We’re all fairly addicted to watching the latest developments in the world of film and video, seeing what we can learn and how we can build on our techniques. We’re also a fairly relaxed lot, though that doesn’t mean we buckle under pressure! It means we can take an objective look at our workflow and tackle problems head on with a clear idea of how to find a solution. And if we have to work late, we’ll ensure there’s enough coffee (or beer) and pizzas to keep us going!

How we work

Whether your first video or your hundredth, we are huge believers that people should do business with people, and we build on this through establishing respect and trust with both our clients and each other. We’re a close knit group that work as a team; collaborating on project work, offering feedback and points of view. Our clients enjoy the fact that regardless of who is leading a project; we’ll all feedback on it at some point!

Our home

Edinburgh has been our home since our inception at the turn of the millennium. Through all of those years we’ve been based in the New Town, never shifting more than a block or two as the business has grown. We’re now back on Great King Street, just off Dundas Street, in the heart of Edinburgh’s independent art district. We love it here; Great King Street even has it’s own whisky. Nuff said.
